Soaking in festival season in Clay Co.

Idon’t know for sure, but after this past weekend’s Dugout Days and EdgarFest celebrations, I’m not sure if it could get much better regarding the weather, or the slate of activities in both communities, but I do know this...It’s the traditional kick-off, if you will, for the summer activity and celebration season.

Sutton’s two and a half day run, along with Edgar’s day long slate of fun in the sun on Saturday, really started the community celebration season with a bang. Edgar’s fireworks display capped a full day of events that brought great fun for all, while Sutton’s main day of action, Saturday, was capped off with perhaps the biggest and best parade of the nine years I’ve lived in Clay County.
