Cougars fall in tough game at Fillmore Central

A low-scoring battle resulted in Sandy Creek’s second loss of the season, as the Cougars dropped a 7-0 decision to the Panthers of Fillmore Central in Geneva Friday.

Sandy Creek kicked off to start the bout and took over offensively, following a three-an-out drive by the Panthers. But the Cougars responded in the same manner, three-and-out, giving the ball back to Fillmore Central, as the Panthers on a drive that moved the chains for three first downs in eight plays before punting it away.
