Harvard Council approves items, talks infrastructure

Three bids were approved by the Harvard City Council Tuesday, March 13, including two vehicle bids and a property bid.
Five bids were submitted for the former police cruiser, with the council accepting a $2,200 bid. Six bids were submitted for the 1987 Chevy pickup owned by the city, with the council accepting a $526 bid. Finally, property at the courts was put up for sale, with one bid being submitted for $300; the council voted 4-1 to accept the bid.
Council members discussed two dilapidated properties in Harvard. The first structure, which sits near the Veteran’s Memorial, was inspected and found to be in poor shape, and is in need of severe upgrades.
