Sindelar joins Clay County Extension staff

2001 Lincoln High School graduate to serve as Extension Educator working in all areas of cropping

Childhood experiences on his father’s family farm led Michael Sindelar to the world of Extension education, according to Sindelar, a 2001 graduate of Lincoln High School.

“My father’s family farm is what eventually led me to the field that I’m in,” Sindelar said. “I was born and raised in Lincoln, but my exposure to the family farm that my father grew up on gave me the direction that I eventually came to.”

Sindelar, after a five-year stint in the United States Navy from 2005 to 2010, graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, while this past May, Sindelar earned his master’s degree in Agronomy, also from UNL.
