New alternative power feed progressing in Sutton

The South Central Public Power District, along with contractor Holler Electric of Gorham, KS, continues their work toward completing a new alternative power feed, to be used by SCPPD throughout their power district.

Here, four trucks help pull power lines through new power poles along Ash Street in northeast Sutton, along Highway 6. The alternative power source is connected to a sub-station south of Grafton, which is
operated by the Perennial Public Power District, who serves York and Fillmore Counties.
