Taking some quality time with Loetta

Due to both of our schedules, Loetta and I don’t get to see each other that often, or at least spend more than 30 minutes with each other.

Honestly, some days that’s a blessing because either one or both of us are not in a good mood and our attitudes don’t make situations better. So staying away from each other is actually good once-in-awhile.

However, in the past couple of weeks we’ve had the time and the chance to spend more than a half hour with each other, and although we’ve pushed the other person’s button more than once, we always have a ton of fun. And the funny thing is we didn’t do anything special. I think sometimes people forget they don’t have to go out and spends gobs of money to have fun with others. For example, last week Loetta acquired her school permit, which she was super stoked about. We had spent hours upon hours trying to prepare her for the test, as well as become a better driver. For sure, she scared me a couple of times and she got nervous too, but overall she’s a great driver, and with practice and experience she’ll get better.
