Prior to the third consecutive battle between Harvard and Cody-Kilgore, Head Coach Scott Trimble felt confident in his team, “I feel like we had a good week of preparation. The guys are pretty focused on what they need to do,” he said. “In three years of six-man football, the field we’ve played on the most besides our own is this one, so I think we feel right at home and we’re ready to go.” Although the Cardinals secured a 33-point win over the Cowboys, the first quarter started out rocky for Harvard, with a back-andforth of touchdowns and faulty plays. C-K pushed forward quickly, after successfully grabbing the kickoff from Harvard, making their first touchdown at the 8:53 mark; with a poor kick, the scoreboard read 6-0, C-K up.
