What almost didn’t happen

Nora Ohrt, left, the technology coordinator at Sutton Public Schools, and Brandy Thompson, right, secondary principal, both had storied high school and collegiate track and field careers. Ohrt, known in the early 1990s as Nora Shepherd was a five-time all-class gold medalist at York High School in track and a three-time Class B gold medalist in cross country, while Thompson (Trofholz) was a two-time Class B gold medalist in the throws at Schuyler High School.
