Harvard’s annual car show, which features a number of activities, a well-entered parade, and several cars, wasn’t always as it is today.
Fourteen years ago, the car show was the only part of the community event.
In 2006, during the dedication of the Veteran’s Memorial Wall in Harvard, Gayle Shore suggested hosting a car show, to which he, and soon after Kenny Reutzel, were eventually put in charge of.
The funds of the annual car show go toward the memorial wall each year.
After talking with some people on how to run a car show, the duo started in and hosted the first-ever Harvard Veteran’s Memorial Car Show.
