EDGAR NEWS

This weekend was cleanup time in Edgar. Many piles of free trash are available, if you lack some. Two days of gathering and hauling was handled by the industrious citizens of the town. Many places look much better! I’m having a sale on puffs, (wind, that is), and have some real bargains. Blasts for half price, etc. Just call me, maybe some intensities are FREE! Seriously, I think we are all tired of it. The weatherman says next week will be better. Hope, I hope, I hope! A salad luncheon was held at the Edgar Presbyterian Church last Thursday. Ms. Amy Sandean of Hastings, presented the program on the Praire Loft. Spring flowers decorated the tables which were set in pastels. A drawing of centerpiece flowers was held for over 60 guests. The Steeles attended a wedding in Omaha last weekend. The bride was Garry’s great-niece. Mrs. Lois Saathoff and Mrs. Darlene Shaw attended the spring gathering at the Hastings Presbyterian Church on Saturday.
