Hastings resident Dorothy A. Blau, 84, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Harvard Rest Haven in Harvard.

Services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 17, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings, with Rev. Lance Clay officiating. Burial was at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield. She attended Fairfield Public Schools through the 8th grade. Dorothy was a homemaker. She lived at The Kensington for 20+ years. Dorothy loved being involved in Bingo, listening to music, and going on bus rides.

Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness and love of family. Her presence brought comfort and warmth to all who knew her.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Evelyn Ledbetter; and nephew, Ronald Weber.

Survivors include, sister Rosmarie Lindstrom; nieces and nephews: Julie Bubak, Charles Ledbetter, Carolyn Dodson, and Christina Ledbetter; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
