Phillip Goodall
Phillip Goodall

Phillip Austen Goodall was born May 11, 1968, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Edward and Luann (Hill) Goodall. On Aug. 3, 2025, at the age of 57 years, 2 months, and 23 days, Phillip was called home to be with the Lord, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. Phillip was a proud graduate of Superior High School and a lifelong member of Union Church in Hardy, where his faith was both nurtured and expressed. He served his country with honor in the United States Armed Forces, embodying virtues of courage, sacrifice, and duty. After his service, he worked faithfully as a maintenance man at Dutton Lainson.
On Nov. 5, 2008, Phillip was united in marriage to Nonda (Cook) Wortman in Sutton, a union grounded in mutual love and devotion. Together, they built a life filled with faith, family, and simple joys.
A man of many talents and interests, Phillip found joy in metal work, welding, and blacksmithing, and the art of crafting with his hands. He had a deep passion for motorcycles, a love for classic AC/DC music, and a knack for collecting items that held meaning to him and those he loved.
Above all, Phillip was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. His family was his greatest earthly treasure.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Edward; mother, Luann Piper; and stepfather, George Piper.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Nonda of Sutton; children, Andy Wortman of Clay Center, and Ahsha (Goodall) Williams and husband, Cole of Sutton; cherished grandchildren Wayde and Neena Williams and a grandson soon to be born. He is also survived by his siblings Ken (Susan) Goodall of Byron, Shelly (Alan) Boatman of Wamego, KS, and Rudy (Ashley) Piper of Laramie, WY, along with many other relatives and dear friends.
