Sutton resident, Patrick “Noodle” J. Nagle, 68, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, at the Grand Island Regional Medical Center in Grand Island.

Funeral services took place at 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sutton, with Father Lee Jirovsky officiating. Interment followed at the Calvary Cemetery in Sutton. Visitation was Sunday, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., and Monday, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sutton Volunteer Fire Department, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, or the American Heart Association. Condolences may be left at www. suttonmemorial.com. Patrick “Noodle” J. Nagle was born July 4, 1957, to Vincent and Margaret (Hughes) Nagle at the family home in Sutton. He received his education in Sutton and graduated from Sutton High School in 1976. He had been employed with Plettner Aerial Spraying, Becker Body Shop, Ted’s OK Tire, and most recently, George Bros., Inc., where he had been employed since 1987.

Growing up he was involved with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. During his years in high school, he was a member of the wrestling team and active with the FFA.

Pat was a member of the Sutton Volunteer Fire Department, Fox Hollow Country Club, and Sons of the American Legion, all in Sutton.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Susan Nagle of Lincoln; and nephew, Michael Nagle of Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent D. and Margaret Nagle; sister, Mary Ellen Nagle; grandparents, Michael and Marie (Reigh) Nagle and Timothy P. and Catherine A. (Blaney) Hughes.
