Dian (Gangwish) Webb, 93, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Tiffany Square in Grand Island.
Dian was born March 11, 1933, in Hastings to Don and Laura Karr. She graduated from Hastings High School. Dian was married to Jerry Gangwish Dec. 25, 1952. They had 6 children together and were married for over 30 years. Later, Dian moved to Texas and married Don Webb. They played bocce ball and enjoyed time with friends. Dian was a loving mother and wife. She was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. She loved studying her Bible alone and with others. Dian returned to Nebraska in 2018 to spend time with her children. Dian was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Gangwish, her parents, Don and Laura Karr, two brothers, and twin sister, Joan. Dian is survived by her husband, Don Webb; son, Raymond (Peggy) Gangwish; daughters, Patti (Mark) Krueger, Nancy Domeier, Peggy (Lyle) VonSpreckelsen and Julie (Gerald) Benes; son, James (Shanda) Gangwish; sister, Judy Rairigh; step-daughter, Susan Burrows; step-son, Mark Webb; 18 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Clay Center Christian Church in Clay Center with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later time. Book Signing was Thursday, June 25 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings. The service was live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website.
