Former Sutton resident Rose Cecelia Cloet, 91, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at Aviva Woodlands Senior Living in Lincoln.

A Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sutton. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m., at the church, with Father Doug Daro officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Sutton. Visitation will be Thursday, from 9 a.m., until the Rosary at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sutton. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Altar Society or the Madonna Foundation.

Condolences may be left at www. suttonmemorial.com Rose was born Dec. 28, 1930, to John and Catherine (Kinen) Andrijeski in Stratton. She received her education in Fort Collins, CO, graduating in 1948. She furthered her education at Saint Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Denver, CO. On Dec. 30, 1957, she married Andrew Henry Cloet in Fort Collins, CO. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2016; they were married 59 years.

Rose was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, knitting, needlework, baking, and looked forward to her travels to Colorado and Europe.

She is survived by her children, Eric (Cheryl) Cloet of Sutton; Kathleen (John) Schulte of Omaha; Linus (Rhonda) Cloet of Sutton; Neil (Wanda) Cloet of Sutton; Teresa (Matthew) Springer of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren: Mindy, Kristin, Emily, Sterling, Tyson, Angelina, Matt, Aaron, Alison, Miles, Nathan, Benjamin, and Amelia; two step-grandchildren: Kevin Huber and Becky Moore; eight great-grandchildren: Liliana, Jovi, Leni, Jack, Mason, Lexi, Margot; brothers, Frank Andrijeski of Reno, NV and Vincent Andrijeski of Hollister, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katie Andrijeski; husband, Andrew Cloet; sister, Clara and brothers, John and Robert.
