Sutton resident Jose Felipe Flores, 76, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at his home near Harvard.

A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sutton. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at the Church with Father Craig Clinch officiating. Interment will follow at the Sutton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, one hour prior to the Rosary at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated later. Jose was born to Gumecinda Noyola Ramos and Dolores Flores Garcia on May 1, 1947, in Corral Quemado, Sanciro De Acosta, San Luis Potosí Mx. He was a resident of Sutton since 1989.

He is preceded by Maria Flores Hernandez, his wife, and Marianita Flores, his daughter.

Leaving behind eight children: Oswaldo, Juan Antonio, Arturo, Esmeralda, Xochitt Maria, Felipe Jr, Janie, and Marlene.

While we lost our most beloved dad, many have lost a friend and loved-one in him. He has been a rock to many, a master at sarcastic humor. There was so much more to him than just dad, though to us that was his greatest role. May God rest his soul, he will be missed.
