Cougars cruise past Schuyler 37-20 Friday

A securing safety Sophomore linebacker Drake Lally (33) flew through the Schuyler offensive late Friday night to record this safety at a time where the Cougars held a 28-20 lead to lift Sandy Creek to a 30-20 lead with the two point safety of Schuyler quarterback Dennis Martinez. The safety helped to lead the Cougars to the eventual 37-20 win over the Warriors.

In the early going, it looked a little concerning for the Sandy Creek football team, as their trip to Schuyler last Friday night opened with the host Warriors posting the first two scores. But in the end, after the Cougars shook the cobwebs loose, Sandy Creek was no match for ...
