Sutton boys 3rd at C-7 meet

Sutton senior Kyle Baumert breezed to the C-7 District 110-meter high hurdle title May 9, with a time of 15.2 seconds. Thayer Central’s Phillip Price, right, was second in 15.69 seconds, while Cade Sterner of Doniphan-Trumbull, left, was third in 15.88 seconds. Baumert heads to the state track meet with the second fastest qualifying time from all of the Class C district meets across the state last week.
