Freshman Rowan Jarosik will be the lone Clay County wrestler taking part in the 2022 state championships in Omaha this week. Jarosik placed second in the C-1 113-pound weight class in Madison Saturday. Here, Jarosik nears the end of his big semifinal round win over Fillmore Central’s Aidan Trowbridge. Trowbridge came into the match at 44-4 and Jarosik, 32-11, but it would be Jarosik that punched his ticket to state with a 6-4 win over the Panther senior. TORY DUNCAN | CLAY COUNTY NEWS
