Sandy Creek junior, Jake Dane cruised into a top-10 finish in the 2023 Class D state golf championships last week, placing 10th with a two-day score of 161, shooting an opening day 85, only to shave nine strokes off of that score on day two, shooting a 76 to earn the state golf hardware.
