Cougars playoff run halted by Stanton 48-36

The Sandy Creek football team runs onto the Cougars home field just prior to the start of their first semifinal football game played since 1994. The Cougars, however, dropped a tough 48-36 decision to the Stanton Mustangs, as the 2023 season came to a close with an impressive 11-1 record, including a 3-1 run in the Class D-1 state playoffs and a perfect 8-0 run in the regular season.
