On the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, the body of 25-year old Jasmine Garnett was found on Road 26 east of Harvard by a person working in the area. Nearly two years later, 35-year old Anthony Mattison of Osceola, who was charged with first-degree murder in the case had his bond set at $2 million, and will stand trial in Clay County Court, where his first court hearing took place Tuesday, May 14. His arraingment hearing was set for 10 a.m. that day.
