Edgar Tractor Pull is Saturday

The “Pulling For Landon” Tractor Pull in Edgar is set for Saturday, Aug. 22. The tractor pull will begin at noon and is in support of Landon Andersen, who is fighting Ewings Sarcoma (bone cancer). Andersen, 10, the son of Andy and Jill Andersen, was diagnosed over a year ago with Ewings Sarcoma—a cancerous tumor that grows in the bones or tissue around the bones, often in thelegs, pelvis, ribs, arms or spine. This causes a lot of pain. He currently resides in Edgar with his parents and two older siblings. Andersen makes frequent trips to the Children’s Hospital in Omaha for treatments, which is a four-hour round trip. The tractor pull, originally set for July 24, was postponed due to heavy rainfall. It is being sponsored by the Edgar Lions Club.
