Elosie M. Wiese was born on Dec. 20, 1925. She passed away on July 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by husband, Harold A. Wiese; parents, Marvin and Effie Erickson Shultz; and brother, Mick Shultz. She is survived by son, Cameron Wiese (Cathy); daughters, Maureen Wiese and Marcia Murray (Pat); six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 15, from 5-7 p.m., with Vigil service at 7 p.m., at the West Center Chapel of Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler Mortuaries in Omaha. Mass of Christian burial, will be Thursday, July 16, at 10 a.m., at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Omaha. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Omaha. Memorials to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

A Celebration of Lif e Memorial Service will be held for Lucille Schliep Ridgway at 4 p.m., Saturday, July 18, at the Fairfield Community Presbyterian Church.

Clara M. Devitt, the daughter of Jay and Dora (Roth) Moore, was born April 25, 1926, near Deweese, NE. She departed this life on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at the Mary Lanning Health Services in Hastings, NE, at the age of 89 years. Clara attended Nelson High School. She was united in marriage to Donald O. Devitt on Dec. 22, 1944, in Mankato, KS. Clara and Don resided in Deweese until moving to the Edgar community in 1954.
