Dr. Dimitri Klebe, of the National Space Science and Technology Institute, will be bringing MESO and about half a dozen scientists to Sutton, Wednesday, Aug. 16, for hands-on experimentation with the Sutton community.
MESO, Mobile Earth and Space Observatory, is a mobile space lab designed to “engage and excite students, teachers, and local residents with hands-on educational and research activities focused on earth and space sciences, renewable energy, and scientific instrumentation,” according to MESO’s website.
Klebe said he will be bringing the lab to Sutton for its first deployment and plans to be set up in town Wednesday, Aug. 16 through Monday, Aug. 21. The lab will be set up near the school parking lot.
