Ground to be Broken Soon for Sutton Clinic

According to Chief Executive Office of Henderson Health Clinic Cheryl Brown, the Sutton Health Care Clinic is set to break ground within the next couple of weeks. The $2 million project was approved by the Sutton City Council in January, and is to be constructed at the corner of Maple Street and U.S. Highway 6. Included in the $2 million is the acquisition of the land, x-ray and lab equipment, and then the overall construction itself. Darland Construction out of Omaha was awarded the bid, and estimated the project would be complete in 180 days. Brown said by fall the clinic construction should be complete, and the doors will be open to the public.

Grafton Man Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder

A $500,000 bond is set for a Grafton man, who was arrested on suspicion of shooting his brother, Thursday, March 19, Fillmore County Sheriff William Burgess said. Police responded to numerous calls that 60-year-old Ervin C. Fuehrer had shot his 62-year-old brother, Stephen C. Preslicka, at Fuehrer’s garage. Preslicka and a friend had driven to the garage to look at some metal work. Bad blood between the brothers left Preslicka leaving the garage and breaking the windows.
