Junction Motor Speedway Holds Weekly Racing Saturday Night

by Anthony Ainslie
Saturday’s weekly racing program at Junction Motor Speedway saw a couple of first-time winners and a couple of races that were decided on the final lap. All five NASCAR Whelen All- American Series were back in action on a dry-slick racetrack in McCool Junction. Saturday’s 25-lap late model feature was dominated by Micah Veleba. The Sutton native started on the outside of the front row and led 24 laps. However, the 25th and final lap was when Grand Island’s Tyler Andreasen took the lead out of turn two and held off Veleba for the final two corners for the win.
