A large turnout of vendors and customers visited the Clay Center Community Clubs’ annual Fall Craft and Vendor Show held Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Clay County Fairgrounds in Clay Center.

SCALE (South Central Alternative Learning Environment) is a new program in the South Central Unified District this year, located in the south end of the Sandy Creek Middle School at Clay Center. The Mission: to teach strategies that will enable students to develop the skills necessary to succeed in school and in life.

General Election Set for Tuesday

With the addition of several write-in candidates for the Tuesday, Nov. 4 General Election in Clay County, casting your vote has become of the utmost importance to share your voice, as polls open at 8 a.m. throughout Clay County this Tuesday. Polls will remain open until 8 p.m.
